The LRWP requires that all boat build participants join us for an hour long safety and boat shop orientation prior to registering for our ongoing boat building/woodworking sessions. Our safety orientations are held once a month from 8-9am on the last Saturday.

Intro/safety session participants are welcome to remain at the boat shop after the safety training to participate in our regular Saturday build session. And of course, upon completing the training, participants are welcome to join our other boat build sessions on Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the month!

The intro to the boat shop/safety overview is an “in person” event to be held at 101 Raritan Avenue in Highland Park.

Registration is FREE.

Close toed shoes are required when in the boat house. Bring your own eye protection if you have it.
