June 17 – Hidden Streams: Reviving the Modified Waterways of the Raritan
June 17 @ 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Join the LRWP in welcoming Luke Tilton, recent graduate of the Rutgers Masters of Landscape Architecture Graduate Program, for a special talk about the Hidden Streams of the Raritan River.
During this online (zoom) event, Luke will describe his methodology for “finding” hidden streams in the Lower Raritan using historic maps of the watershed. He will provide details of his thesis work that includes landscape design strategies that might help “revive” the modified waterways of the Raritan Watershed. Luke’s work includes a special focus on the Cedar Brook in Plainfield and South Plainfield, and it’s rather unusual course through (and under) these towns.
Pre-registration required. Registrants will receive login information a week prior to the talk.
