Please join us for a new offering: “Understanding Urban Stream Health”

This session will be led by the LRWP’s Visual Habitat Assessment Project Coordinator Jon Dugan.

The program will run on Sunday October 30, from 9 AM – 11 AM

Project participants will:

1. Connect with the special landscapes that are our urban streams
2. See first hand how the way humans have developed the land has impacted our streams
3. Engage observational tools to assess land use (and other) impacts on stream health and integrity
4. Strategize interventions to improve stream health

The LRWP offers this session for community members who want to learn more about our Streamkeeper Visual Habitat Assessment program.

Participants will meet at St. Peter the Apostle Community and University Parish / 94 Somerset Street, New Brunswick, NJ – we will walk from there to the stream.

Please wear clothing and footwear that you don’t mind getting wet and dirty. Watershed-themed costumes optional!!
