The LRWP is pleased to partner with Clean Ocean Action, Middlesex County Parks and Raritan Riverkeeper for 2016 Beach Sweeps at two sites, one in Perth Amboy and one in South Amboy.

Both events will occur on October 22nd from 9-noon:

A. Perth Amboy adjacent to the Route 35 or Victory Bridge. This 2.5 acre area is the site of Summer 2016 pathogens monitoring. It is slated for a dog park and boat ramp. It is adjacent to an almost 1/2 mile long pedestrian walkway along the banks of the Raritan River, the walkway is also scheduled to be rehabilitated. In its present state the area is well used by fishermen and citizens seeking a quiet area with a great vista of the river.

B. South Amboy at Raritan Bay Waterfront Park.
