The LRWP and WMA9 Watershed Ambassador Justin Berlity are co-hosting a clean-up along the River in South Bound Brook on Saturday March 5.

We have scheduled this late winter clean up of the River’s banks to take advantage of the seasonal die off of nuisance shrubs. We will meet at the Canal parking lot (approximately 280 River Road). From here we will have easy access to the tow path and the far side of the Raritan River, using the Queens Bridge pedestrian pathway to Bound Brook where there is also a lot of trash.

Gloves and garbage bags will be provided.

As always, volunteers should dress for the weather, and be prepared to be outdoors.
